In addition to important fatty acids, flax seeds also provide mucus substances that relieve the gastric mucosa.
Original PUR.GASTRO is grain- and molasses-free, fully mineralized and vitaminized and is suitable as crib food for sensitive horses due to its harmonious composition and can be individually dosed to the needs of the horse. Thus, Original PUR.GASTRO can be used both as the sole crib food and to supplement and enhance the existing ration.
The high fiber content of around 25% also ensures a prolonged chewing time and thus increased saliva formation of the horse. The sodium bicarbonates contained in the saliva buffer the stomach acid. The 10 mm pellets can also be soaked if necessary.
